ALITI American Online Education gives parents the opportunity to select what homeschooling style fits best into their family schedule.

TRADITIONAL SCHOOL SCHEDULE

Students are registered on a semester basis (Fall and Spring), completing 18 weeks of study per semester.

Benefits:

•Students remain on a schedule they are used to that also allows for an easy transfer from or to homeschooling.

•Easy for parents to keep track of their child’s academic progress.

•Students are able to enjoy public and family holidays with the rest of their family members and siblings.

FLEXIBLE SCHOOL SCHEDULE

Students are registered following a 36-weeks of study module, i.e., 5 days of study for 36-weeks.

This schedule enables students to study on their own time and at their own pace. Students will also develop time management and organizational skills along the way.

Benefits:

•Family chooses their own start date

•Family counts days until they meet 180-day (ISBE) requirement

•Family takes breaks and days off as needed
